Ashley Kim is a high school senior. She designs, edits, and writes for NCJ.

At school, she is an editor for her school newspaper and editor-in-chief of her school's literary magazine. Ashley also performs in her campus's dance team. In the fall, she will attend Columbia University as a first-year.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys creative writing, crossword puzzles, and literary fiction. Her current inspirations include F. Scott Fitzgerald, Margaret Atwood, and Virginia Woolf. She also loves studying theology and history.

As a writer and editor for NCJ, Ashley hopes that her writing will provide clarity and promote democracy. She believes strongly in the importance of the press.
