Ariel Donato is a high school senior and serves as a writer and editor for NCJ.

In school, her favorite subjects have always been English and history. Ariel seeks to learn about global events, both current and past. Her love for history inspired her dreams of becoming a teacher. She hopes to help future students have a fun time learning.

Ariel is a ballet dancer, spending many hours taking classes and attending rehearsals, all while striving for improvement. Ariel also enjoys participating in her school's Policy Debate team and volunteering to help her community.

In her free time, Ariel loves reading, spending time with friends and family, swimming, and baking. She believes it is important to follow and understand politics.

As part of NCJ, Ariel hopes to help inform others about politics and current events in a way that is easy to understand.
